Get paid at the counter or remotely, without ever re-entering a payment
Bancontact on the terminal, a QR the customer scans with their banking app, a payment link sent with the invoice: in all three cases it is the invoice that receives the payment — amount, date and method — and the balance due is right. Month-end reconciliation stops being guesswork.
Three ways to get paid, a single entry
- The terminal, driven from the invoice. The amount goes to the device, the customer enters their PIN, the invoice marks itself paid. No total retyped by hand, so no gap between the till and the software.
- The QR at the counter. A European QR printed on the invoice or shown on screen: the customer scans it with their banking app, amount and reference already filled in. No terminal, no acquirer fee — it is a transfer.
- The remote payment link. Sent with the invoice by email, or available in the customer portal: the customer pays by card or Bancontact from home, and you have nothing to chase.
What it changes day to day
- The payment lands on the invoice, not in a notebook beside it: exact balance due, « paid » status automatically.
- Automatic reminders no longer go out to a customer who has already paid.
- A customer who says they have paid can flag it from their portal: you see it, you check it, you confirm it.
- Take payment on the tablet you hand to the customer at the counter, just as for signing.
Transfers: reconciled instead of hunted
Half of a garage's money arrives by bank transfer, and that is where the time goes. Plyx reads your bank statement — CODA from your bank, CSV, or even the PDF — and matches each line to the right invoice through the structured reference. What is certain reconciles itself; what stays doubtful is put in front of you, and you decide.
Your contract, your keys
Plyx drives the terminal and the online payments (Viva.com, Stripe) but never collects in your place: each garage keeps its own contract and its own keys. The money goes straight from your customer to your account, with no intermediary, and you stay free to change provider without changing software.
Two things to know before you start
- The transfer QR is free for you, but it is not instant: the money arrives like an ordinary transfer. At the counter, the terminal stays the most direct route.
- A collection account must be verified by its provider before it accepts real amounts: sort that out before the first customer, not during.
