Tyre storage, kept as a register and not as a pile
Two sets per customer, two changeovers a year, one slot in the rack: after three seasons nobody knows whose is whose any more. Plyx keeps who, what, where and since when — and reminds the customer before the season, which turns a favour into a booked appointment.
What Plyx remembers for you
- The exact location: rack, bay, level. A set is found in thirty seconds, even by an apprentice.
- The set itself: sizes, brand, DOT, with or without rims — and the remaining tread measured tyre by tyre.
- The customer, their vehicle and its plate: storage is attached to the car, so it follows the history.
- The in and out dates, the current season, and the agreed storage price.
The reminder that fills the workshop
Before the season, Plyx knows which customers have tyres with you and lets you tell them in one move, by email or WhatsApp. That is the difference between waiting for the first frost and filling your diary two weeks ahead. And a customer whose tyres sleep at your place will not have them fitted elsewhere.
What it actually prevents
- The set nobody can find on a Saturday morning, with the customer standing there.
- Sets mixed up between two customers driving the same car.
- The storage season forgotten on the invoice.
- The argument about wear: the tread measured on arrival is written down, dated and printable.
Two details that make the difference when the tyres go back
- Measure on arrival, not on the way out: it is the arrival measurement that protects you if the customer disputes the wear six months later.
- Note the location as you put them away, never afterwards: that is the only moment the information is certain.
